BioHubNet Launches ENGAGE

Jumpstart Your Biomanufacturing Career with Industry-Focused Training 

The Biomanufacturing Hub Network (BioHubNet) is excited to launch ENGAGE —a dynamic training and skills development program designed to equip Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP) with STEM backgrounds with the essential skills to thrive in Canada’s expanding biomanufacturing sector. 

Developing Industry-Ready Talent 

ENGAGE offers a curated suite of structured learning experiences developed by BioHubNet’s partner organizations in close collaboration with industry leaders. Through this program, HQP gain technical expertise, hands-on experience, and access to professional networks—critical foundations for success in the life sciences and biomanufacturing industries. 

Program Highlights 

• Industry-Relevant Courses: Access a curated collection of courses focused on key areas of biomanufacturing, including manufacturing processes, quality control and risk management, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices. 

• In-Person Training: Participate in hands-on training that enables HQP to apply theoretical knowledge through practical exercises, enhance problem-solving skills, and build real-world competencies in biomanufacturing techniques. 

• Networking Opportunities: Connect with industry mentors and professionals through dedicated networking platforms and curated events that support career development and relationship-building. 

Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry 

By offering industry-focused learning experiences, ENGAGE program prepares HQP for meaningful careers in biomanufacturing, bridging the gap between academic training and workforce readiness. 

Eligible HQP who participate in the ENGAGE program may receive BioHubNet training credits—valued at up to $5,000—to access courses through the BioHubNet online training platform.
