The Biomanufacturing Hub Network (BioHubNet) is excited to launch the first initiative under the EXPERIENCE pillar: the Industry Internship Program, designed to help Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP) with STEM backgrounds gain practical, hands-on experience through placements with leading companies in the biomanufacturing and life sciences sectors.
Program Highlights
- Paid Internship Opportunities: Eligible trainees may receive a wage subsidy for the duration of their internship. Placements range from short-term (4 months) to long-term (up to 18 months), depending on the opportunity.
- Career Coaching – Resume and Elevator Pitch Support: Get one-on-one guidance from our career advisor to craft a compelling, industry-ready resume and elevator pitch that help you stand out to employers. Our process ensures that your resume is industry-ready.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a graduate student (Master’s or PhD) or a postdoctoral fellow in biomanufacturing or a life sciences-related discipline.
- Be enrolled at a partner academic institution.
- Have defended their thesis or are nearing thesis defence.
- Have legal authorization to work in Canada for the full duration of the internship.
