Aseptic Techniques and GDP Workshop 

 

Duration: 5 hours  

Location: Guelph (bus pick up and drop off from University of Toronto) 

Workshop Partner: CATTI  

 

Description 

In this mini-workshop, participants will get practical experience of cell manufacturing under GMPs. Participants will learn about the importance of GMP, GDP and how to write an effective SOP. They will observe aseptic techniques in CATTI’s lab space and perform some GMP compliant cell counting. 

 

Schedule 

  • Activity 1: Introduction to GMP and GDP. SOP writing exercise 
  • Lunch Break (30 mins) 
  • Activity 2: Lab tour, aseptic processing and cell counting
