Knowledge Exchange: Round 4 Now Open
We are excited to announce that Round 4 of the Knowledge Exchange program is now open, accepting applications. Knowledge Exchange is designed to bridge the gap between academic research and the evolving needs of the biomanufacturing sector. We offer trainees unique opportunities to engage in inter-institutional placements across Canada, fostering rapid skill-building and collaborative innovation.
Eligibility
Eligible trainees from BioHubNet’s partner institutions include:
- MSc and PhD students
- Postdoctoral fellows
- Research associates
- Laboratory technicians
Placement Requirements
- Placements must be inter-institutional and within Canada
- Proposed projects should be relevant to biomanufacturing and demonstrate how the proposed activities will advance biomanufacturing skills, capabilities, and/or capacity
Duration & Funding
- Short term (1 month): Up to $2,500
- Long term (4 or 6 months): Up to $30,000 with an optional mobility award up to $10,000

- Support letter from the home supervisor
- Invitation letter from the host supervisor
